Undertaker and his Paul Bearer grace the cover of the Plots-n-Tombstones official fanzine (magazine) Vol. #15, July-August 1997

Come summertime 1997, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer couldn’t have been more neck deep in their TV feud than they already were as Bearer planned to dish the dirt on ‘Undertaker’s Secret’. The ‘secret’ would ultimately result in the debut of Kane.

Still... Despite the horrid antics that were playing themselves out on WWF/E TV, many UT fans in early 1997 were still suffering the pangs & heartache leftover from Summerslam ‘96 of a beloved friendship gone so wrong. Trust and continued belief in that precious partnership would frequently make itself known on, and within, the pages of PNT’s official magazine —Such as in this popular cover example.

On a side note, in case some of you don’t know, the jackel-headed, Anubis, was the Egyptian god of the Dead. ..which is mainly why he is seen here.

Inks; cir. 1997
