The crowned Megatron topper of Metatisic’s batton is largely symbolic – It’s gold exemplifies the body of Megadyne while the youthful vornling (child) and ancient vector hawk wings suggest the newly created spark; reincarnation. This is discovered in the crypts by a HMW player on the game.

HMW: Prop & Template arts

Is just as it reads, these are some prop & template art from/for the construction of the Transformers related online comic, RDD/HMW, etc. During the development of HMW, I had to construct a lot of background and background scenery — LOTS of it! This usually means a lot of DVD watching and pausing to ensure I’m being as accurate as possible, especially with scenes I know that are going to be familiar to TF fan audiences: Shots of the Decepticon crypt for example.

I usually build these in grayscale (since the comic is B&W), save the template, and then catalog them as ‘screentones’ should I ever need them again in any future scenes and panels. Others are kept in color. Others still, such as these here, did not exist and had to be built from the ground up. These include props and various interior back drops.
